The design of the window is inspired by the gears used to start steam engines. The old railway tower dates to about 1926 and so the design concept takes us back to this period.

However, the technique used for the window is very innovative because it is etched, engraved glass which is later painted with vitrified enamel to give it an abstract feel.

The author of the work explains to us the artistic influence of the paintings of Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979) who created colourful pieces which gave the feeling of movement.

The house is surrounded by pleasant vegetation which, when contrasted with the transparency of the glass, creates interesting optical effects inside the house.
